PJ VOL 2 - ABOUT THE BOOK

The enemy fights with you through the mind to destroy your soul.  

As we serve the Lord daily, we must keep this in mind.  Our mind is what we would like to refer to as the inner communication mechanism of the human brain.  Profoundly, the means for the renewing of our whole being is through our minds.

God expects us to use our intellect but it must be a renewed one. One that is pure, clean and holy.

I have committed to renewing my mind daily in order to be victorious in this Christian walk.

“Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” – Jeremiah 33:3 (KJB)

The time is now when the Christian community must pay closer attention to the operations of the mind.    The great and mighty things are going to first happen and appear in your mind.

Renew it and strengthen it in the word, worship and prayer.

In this new Prayer Journal, we share the whole idea of keeping score.  If you do not keep score, how do you know if you are winning?

We introduced a new concept to the word (WIN) which stands for:
Write It Now!

Commit to the routine of recording your prayers - the divine instructions, testimonies, inspirations and your journey.

Emphasis is placed on the mind, since this is where our battles are either won or lost.

In addition, there are three main relationships in life. Our relationship with God, others and ourselves. I pray you will be blessed even more by this new and divine tool released for such a time as this.

Is there someone you just don’t understand? – Pray for them, don't criticize

Is there someone you know who is not saved? – Pray for them, don't judge

Is there someone you know who is a believer of Jesus Christ but is struggling to live up? – Pray for them, don’t gossip

Each of us are ‘God’s workmanship’

Called to Love

I have been treated badly in recent times by persons who really should be the 'keepers of my soul' and people who claim that they 'love' me. On more than one occasion I was tempted to reciprocate the treatment. It takes great strength to love and restrain oneself, especially when you know you are not deserving of the ill treatment. The bible reminds us that we ought to ,"...Love our enemies, bless them that curse us, do good to them that hate us, and pray for them which despitefully use us and persecute us;" -St. Matt. 5:44 God expects that even when others are 'deserving' of our bad treatment and have fully earned the right to be 'hated', that we will love them and love them without discrimination. Think about it, it is so difficult to even forgive and love those we call friends whenever they hurt us, more so an enemy. Dear God I know you are great and wonderful and I also know you are listening to this prayer. From a very early age you called Samuel and placed him to serve your people. God You showed Joseph the blue print of his life through his dreams...but God what do you want from me?
