DAY 11  (I am stressed out) Jesus, it's almost frightening to hear a little ten-year-old girl crying just how much she is stressed out. Deliver our children from their emotional and mental stresses and give them the strength and stamina to grow from each difficult.  The Child's Prayer:  I refuse to be stressed and I embrace my blessing today. Amen. Notes to Parents:   Don't underestimate the fact that your child could be a carrier of stress.  In times of adversity and turmoil, stress evokes strong emotions and causes uncertainty in all of us. As parents, we are in the best position to help our children. Here are five things we can do:   Supervise their tv time or use of the media and devices   Plan times away from devices where they can be creative and be engaged in outdoor activities   Listen whenever they want to speak.  Some children will want to talk about difficult situations and some won’t. Both reactions are common and natural.   Be calm. Th

DAY 7  (Things on their minds) Our Father our children have so many things on their minds. They want to grow up, they want to spend their own money, they want to not be left out of the social circles, so many overwhelming thoughts and what seems to be a never-ending bag of needs. We commit all their needs in your hands and pray that they will lean on you with all their understanding. In Jesus name, amen. The Child's Prayer:  Dear Jesus, help me not to worry but be very thoughtful with all my decisions and choices amen. Notes to Parents:   It's important that we teach our children to think vs worry. When I was a little boy, my parents would often hold their chin in their hand, and we thought that was a posture for worrying. It actually is a posture for holding the weight of their head by supporting their neck and providing the head with the opportunity to think things through more clearly. DAY 5  (Bless them to Live) Oh GOD, I bless my child/children to live and live life abundantly. I refuse to be the one who opens doors for my child to be treated harshly or badly by the world. I honour my child/children so everyone who meets him/her/them will do likewise. I bless them by your word to be free from all types of abuse, emotional, physical, & mental.  The Child's Prayer: LORD, let me be free from all types of abuse and live a quality life in You. Amen Notes to Parents:   Does your child have behavior problems? Your relationship with your child likely needs some attention. A parent's relationship with his or her child will be reflected in the child's actions -- including child behavior problems, Ruby Natale  PhD, PsyD, professor of clinical pediatrics at the University of Miami Medical School  explains. "If you don't have a good relationship with your child, they're not going to listen to you. Think about how you r

DAY 4  (GYM - Guard Your Mind) Father, we adore you. We pray over the lives of our children today... Guard their minds against the deception and cunning devices being used to enslave their minds and capture their souls. They are so drawn to technology and media. But You can free their spirit of every oppressive, lying, and manipulating spirit. We lift up a standard in our homes, communities, and a righteous standard in the media all for your glory. Save them from perversion, evil speaking, sexual promiscuity, drug, and substance abuse among other unholy addictions. Please anoint their heads, hands, and bodies with oil so they will be protected from the demons at work even at this hour... Amen! The Child's Prayer:  Dear GOD, You are my Heavenly Father, please guard my mind and keep a watch over me all the days of my life. Notes to Parents:   It has become so much more important to set ourselves as 'watch-dogs' against the many and

He shall not be put to shame      when he speaks with his enemies  in the gate. [ b ] DAY 3  (We Bless These Arrows) Lord so many of us as parents are very much in our youth and young adult years, we ask that we will see with clarity how we must guide and direct your children, according to your words and instructions so our children will be a blessing every single day of their lives. Like arrows in our hands, we prepare them to accomplish your will in the earth. Bless them in abundance this new week and beyond in Jesus' name. Amen and Amen. DAY 1 (Feeling loved in an environment free of criticism) Heavenly Father , help me to love my child/children and also meet my child's/children's need(s) to feel loved. Teach us how to deal with the problems of our children/child not actually feeling loved . The Child's Prayer: Dear God, please teach my parents, caregivers, guardians, teachers, siblings, those I interact with, and others how to love me and make me feel loved. Show them I   will almost never feel loved while being criticized. Notes to Parents:   It isn’t enough to love our children. Essentially, we all do that, yet we will still have problems. That’s because, if a child doesn’t actually  feel  he or she is loved, it often won’t matter how much the parents love the child. There needs to be  an absence of criticism. F eeling loved  and  not being criticized  receive equal importance on the chart of a child's need and is described as  the one thing a developing child needs above all
